Human Living Ministry ... originated from
"Living Human" all of my life! Additionally, it was birthed through years of writing, but more importantly - years of prayer.
I desire to gently walk across someone's heart and step away having left a positive, life-changing impact with the writing and poetry God provides through me for His glory.

-
May the hurting know His love
-
May the lonely know His presence
-
May the lost know His salvation and friendship
-
May the damaged know His reconstruction
-
May the fallen know His recovery
-
May the rejected know they are welcomed by Him
-
May all receive His forgiveness with repentance and recognize they are a part of ...
The Family of God

OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF TAMMIE HUMAN BURGIN
Author and Writer

Have you ever known you needed to do something ...something you had never done before? If you've had a relationship with Jesus for even a short time, you know you've experienced this very thing. The Lord will ask us to do something that never crossed our minds. He will put this idea in our thoughts and it will become like a heartfelt reminder until we just step out in faith with Him and do it.
This is where I am right now. Never did I envision I would have a website. Never did I imagine I would create a website myself that would share my writings, poetry and offer an option to leave a prayer request for me to pray with strangers ...and friends alike. Well, here I am …obeying my Heavenly Father and doing all of the above.
Human beings have a commonality - no matter where we grew up, who we are or what dreams we have.
We are all human.

My family and I happen to have had the privilege of not only being human but actually living HUMAN …since it is our name! I always knew the Lord would have me do something creative and ministering with this amazing and beautiful name - for His glory. AND …what a fun name it has been to carry and grow up with. I will share more of the blast it has been as you experience this adventure with me.

I will learn as I go …I know He will teach me. Thank you for your prayers and patience with me as I toddle along as a newbie in this web arena. I am excited to share what the Lord is instructing me to in this internet excursion with each one of you.

A favorite Scripture of mine and very much referenced through my life is:

Proverbs 3:5, 6 -
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (6) in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

So, here I am. I find myself reaching for it even now …as I step out in faith …once again.

Welcome, my human friends! I look forward to this journey as it offers a place to be a unique part of the human family.

Let's gather together in this place of commonality ...as we all are ...living human./.

I will meet you here - at

I Peter 4:11
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
ABOUT
TAMMIE HUMAN BURGIN
Who Is Tammie Human Burgin?
Tammie Human Burgin is a writer –blessed to grow up in a Christian home –honored to be the granddaughter of a Pastor. She does not take for granted hearing the Name of Jesus before she even took her first breath.
SHE KNOWS –Luke 12:48 …to whom much is given much is required.
Her desire to extend the love, the knowledge, the Truth of Jesus is her mission –her ministry –for such a time as this.
The love and priority she has for her Savior, husband –Scott, sons –Tyler and Zachary and daughter-in-love –Katie, is the definition of who she is and what drives her.
She continues to minister in writing and in prayer what the Lord has done, who He is to her and how someone can know Jesus as their personal Savior.
It is her heart to share the love of God …to one …to all …FOR HIS GLORY!

As I sat in the pick-up lane at my sons’ elementary school oh so many years ago, I recall one of our family’s favorite teachers coming to my passenger window. I rolled it down only to hear, “Mrs. Burgin, I don’t like what I heard today!” I had to leave the conversation without additional details, as the cars ahead of me were moving. This definitely left me perplexed.
It was our turn for pickup and my two little boys happily jumped in the car after a full day at school. I proceeded to share what just occurred and our youngest son let me know a question had been raised about who would not be returning to our school the following year. “Honest Abe” – as we had nicknamed him – immediately threw his precious arm in the air and communicated a plan that our family was discussing and praying about. This led to unhappy teachers and staff as we pursued an adventure in homeschooling.
A very positive teacher conference experience for our oldest son brought on this prayerful research that my husband and I delved into and included our boys. Once we as a family concluded this was the direction the Lord was leading us in, the next decision we made together was to have a foundational scripture.

We chose the following –
I Peter 3:15 KJV
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
As young parents and non-teachers, my amazing husband and I humbled ourselves before our God and completely depended on His guidance, wisdom, and provision for our family’s homeschooling journey. The three focal points were God, family, and education. We wanted to give all we could to our wonderful sons. We wanted to bring our best to God and to them.
Throughout the experience – we gave attention to why we love, serve, trust, walk, and talk with Jesus. One of our greatest priorities was – and continues to be – what we believe and how to give an answer for what we believe.
We prayerfully began the homeschool journey together and believed the Lord would show us when to end it just as He had done with when we started. He did.
Our three years together schooling at home around the table, reading on the couch, field trips to the zoo, educating at Panera, learning picnics at the park, and even schooldays at Mimi and Pappy’s – growing and sharing – are three years I cherish and treasure to this day. I will until I take my final breath.
Of course, we were not and still aren’t perfect. I am no school teacher – BUT GOD – He equipped me. He taught both my husband and me how to educate our sons and prepare them to rely on Him, to be self-sufficient, to be life-long learners, as well as, to be there for each other.
Our family developed a bond in those three years that has and forever will remain. And I am humbly grateful!
Most of all, above all, we all know what we believe and we are able to give an answer for what we believe. We are not easily persuaded or influenced to go with the crowd just because it’s the popular thing. We don’t waiver when life is tough and others don’t understand our path. We don’t cave under peer pressure or social norms – for we know what we believe and the roots are deep! It doesn’t matter who stayed with us …or who did not. Jesus did and He does!
I ask you, dear Reader, do you know what you believe? Furthermore, are you able to give an answer for what you believe? I encourage you – don’t sway with the wind. Stand firm – even if you stand alone. If your stance is for Jesus Christ, let me assure you – you are never alone, for He will never leave you nor forsake you!
Joshua 1:5 NIV
No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
My prayer for you is that you know what you believe and are prepared to give an answer for it. If you do not know Jesus and you would like to know Him or know more about Him, please visit my Invitation and Prayer page. I pray you do.
I want you to always know this, friend …Jesus loves you so!

Simon,
The Zealot

A Disciple of Jesus
Matthew 10:4
The HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for the month of March is Simon the Zealot.
The disciple Simon is referenced as Simon the Zealot for various reasons. He is distinguished between the other Simon who we know as Peter and he was thought to be a member of the political Zealots’ movement.
Simon the Zealot was possibly also known for being zealous for the Gospel once chosen by Jesus to follow Him and be one of His disciples.
Zealous is defined as -
full of, characterized by, or due to zeal; ardently active, devoted, or diligent.
Synonyms: warm, passionate, intense, fervent, fervid, eager, enthusiastic
Friend, do you consider yourself to be zealous? Do you have someone in your world that you could describe as zealous? I think we all know this exciting and vivacious personality in a few people we have in our lives. This characteristic is strong, persistent, enthusiastic and energetic. A person with this trait enters a room and the dynamics can completely change.
I had a close relationship with this exact personality. The heartfelt actions that were extended to the relationships in this one’s life were dramatic and profound. You knew when this person showed up and you knew what this person had to say. The zealousness brought forth from this human was authentic and unashamed. Incomparable is the best way to describe this relationship and the exchanges extended to all that were encountered. If you are anything like me - the overall experience with such a zealous kinship causes you to pause, reflect, and be grateful for the things you witnessed, gleaned, and even shared.
A zealous soul can find their place in what some might consider to be annoying. Though this does not stop a zealous individual from being who they are - it is still noticed and observed. Being zealous or passionate is not always welcomed. Yet, I see that Jesus chooses several of these types to be used as glorious purposes for Him. Oh - we are all created by Him and we are definitely different for a reason. However, there must be something unique about this zealous nature that made Jesus lean in on some of these types. If we really study and review some of those with this sort of behavior used of the Lord - we don’t just see Simon the Zealot, but John the Baptist, Peter, Paul and even Stephen.
Yes, the Lord uses all kinds for His glory. Nevertheless, the zealot ones are a great part of telling the Gospel and sharing Jesus with many throughout the ages. Simon the Zealot is only mentioned in four verses -
Matthew 10:4; Mark 3:8; Luke 6:15;
Acts 1:13. Inasmuch, he was chosen by Jesus to be one of “The Twelve Disciples.”Whatever the reason for the title choice to include “Zealot” - if Simon was part of a Zealot group, was zealous for the law or zealous for Jesus and His plan - it is apparent that Jesus saw something of distinction in Simon. He saw the zealous spirit that could be and was used to actively spread His Message to all who would listen.
If you are one who is listening now and would like to know more about Jesus as your personal Savior, you can contact me at thumanburgin@gmail.com or visit my Invitation and Prayer page for more information.
Can I pray with you? Please submit a completed prayer request form that you will find on my Prayer Request page. I am here to pray with you. I assure you that I will pray and your need will stay confidential.
In studying the Disciples of Jesus, we are finding how diverse and unique they each are. We are learning that these humans are just like us in many ways. We relate to their personalities or have people in our lives who share similar character.
Simon the Zealot might not have much written in God’s Word about his contributions, but Jesus saw him for what he had to offer. He asked him to be a part of His Disciples. Simon the Zealot said yes and that’s what matters most - he humbled who he was to do what Jesus needed him to do - for the call and glory of Jesus.
Zealot or not, the Lord wants to use you, dear Reader! He is asking you today if you will accept Him as your Savior and listen to His instructions He has for your life. The most important thing now is …what will you say to Jesus? What is your response to Him? My prayer is you repent and receive Him as your Savior and Lord. Next - welcome His ways, His plans, His call for your life - from this moment on. If you make this life-changing choice, welcome to the Family of God. Also, please consider communicating it with me. I would be grateful to connect and pray with you as you begin your journey with Jesus.
Dear Reader, thank you for stopping by …I’m so glad you did. You’re welcome to stop anytime.
