I desire to gently walk across someone's heart and step away having left a positive, life-changing impact with the writing and poetry God provides through me for His glory.

Have you ever known you needed to do something ...something you had never done before? If you've had a relationship with Jesus for even a short time, you know you've experienced this very thing. The Lord will ask us to do something that never crossed our minds. He will put this idea in our thoughts and it will become like a heartfelt reminder until we just step out in faith with Him and do it.
This is where I am right now. Never did I envision I would have a website. Never did I imagine I would create a website myself that would share my writings, poetry and offer an option to leave a prayer request for me to pray with strangers ...and friends alike. Well, here I am …obeying my Heavenly Father and doing all of the above.
Human beings have a commonality - no matter where we grew up, who we are or what dreams we have.
We are all human.
My family and I happen to have had the privilege of not only being human but actually living HUMAN …since it is our name! I always knew the Lord would have me do something creative and ministering with this amazing and beautiful name - for His glory. AND …what a fun name it has been to carry and grow up with. I will share more of the blast it has been as you experience this adventure with me.
I will learn as I go …I know He will teach me. Thank you for your prayers and patience with me as I toddle along as a newbie in this web arena. I am excited to share what the Lord is instructing me to in this internet excursion with each one of you.
A favorite Scripture of mine and very much referenced through my life is:
Proverbs 3:5, 6 -
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (6) in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.
So, here I am. I find myself reaching for it even now …as I step out in faith …once again.

Who Is Tammie Human Burgin?
Tammie Human Burgin is a writer –blessed to grow up in a Christian home –honored to be the granddaughter of a Pastor. She does not take for granted hearing the Name of Jesus before she even took her first breath.
SHE KNOWS –Luke 12:48 …to whom much is given much is required.
Her desire to extend the love, the knowledge, the Truth of Jesus is her mission –her ministry –for such a time as this.
The love and priority she has for her Savior, husband –Scott, sons –Tyler and Zachary and daughter-in-love –Katie, is the definition of who she is and what drives her.
She continues to minister in writing and in prayer what the Lord has done, who He is to her and how someone can know Jesus as their personal Savior.
It is her heart to share the love of God …to one …to all …FOR HIS GLORY!
Our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection- Hosea, A Minor Prophet, was called by God to give messages and warnings to His people.
God saw those whom He loved and called deliberately disobey Him. They chose to defiantly do the opposite of the instructions God gave them. These directions were for their protection as well as their success. Yet, their own actions proved to be unfaithfulness- as a lifestyle.
Hosea was called by God to be a Prophet to His people. He sent messages and warnings through them. These could be presented verbally or physically. In Hosea’s case, God asked him to literally live out the message and warning. I recommend that you read Hosea 1-3 for complete context.
The children of Israel were so blatantly disrespectful. They made decisions that demonstrated unfaithfulness as a lifestyle. This was in God’s face- to God’s face- and before God’s face. In return, Almighty God assigned His Prophet, Hosea, to marry a prostitute named Gomer. This in-your-face live example showed what Israel was doing to God.
Genesis 15:18-21 NIV
18 On that day the Lordmade a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi[e] of Egyptto the great river, the Euphrates—
19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites,
20 Hittites, Perizzites,Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.”
In Genesis 15, God made a covenant with Abraham and His descendants. A covenant is regarded as marriage, Biblically. With this- we can understand why God directed Hosea to marry Gomer- an adulterous wife- to show unfaithfulness.
Despite the unfaithfulness of his wife, Gomer, Hosea is faithful and committed to her. This is the example God was to His people. What an amazing illustration of the love of God to you and me, as well as, His specific call on different humans’ lives.
Psalm 105:8 NIV
He remembers his covenant forever,
the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV
22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
We are reminded throughout God’s Word of God’s great love and faithfulness to us. His unfailing love is how it is described. How great is the love our God has for each of us …even more, how great is our God!
I want you to know what God wants you to know- He is faithful. No matter your choices, circumstances, or unfaithfulness- God is here for you. God your Father, Jesus your Savior, Holy Spirit your Comforter and Guide- wants you to receive His covenant and unshakable love.

A Minor Prophet
The Book of Hosea
Our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection- Hosea, A Minor Prophet, was called by God to give messages and warnings to His people.
This month’s study is a revelation in ways God spoke to His Prophets. Friend, He continues to speak to us- we need only seek Him, pause, listen, hear and obey His instructions. It is a courageous lifestyle, rather than unfaithful, to do so!
I recommend that you read Hosea 1-3. This will provide complete context as we learn so much from the Lord through this human.

Unfaithfulness- as a lifestyle- is not what we want for ourselves. We need Jesus and He wants us. My prayer is that we receive His faithfulness and give to Him ours!
God your Father, Jesus your Savior, Holy Spirit your Comforter and Guide- wants you to receive His covenant and unshakable love. I encourage you to locate Scriptures in your Bible that reference God’s love for you such as-
John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Let’s do this together, friends. My prayer is as we do, we become better humans because of Jesus from each week’s study. I pray we are witnesses of Him in our world.
