I desire to gently walk across someone's heart and step away having left a positive, life-changing impact with the writing and poetry God provides through me for His glory.

Have you ever known you needed to do something ...something you had never done before? If you've had a relationship with Jesus for even a short time, you know you've experienced this very thing. The Lord will ask us to do something that never crossed our minds. He will put this idea in our thoughts and it will become like a heartfelt reminder until we just step out in faith with Him and do it.
This is where I am right now. Never did I envision I would have a website. Never did I imagine I would create a website myself that would share my writings, poetry and offer an option to leave a prayer request for me to pray with strangers ...and friends alike. Well, here I am …obeying my Heavenly Father and doing all of the above.
Human beings have a commonality - no matter where we grew up, who we are or what dreams we have.
We are all human.
My family and I happen to have had the privilege of not only being human but actually living HUMAN …since it is our name! I always knew the Lord would have me do something creative and ministering with this amazing and beautiful name - for His glory. AND …what a fun name it has been to carry and grow up with. I will share more of the blast it has been as you experience this adventure with me.
I will learn as I go …I know He will teach me. Thank you for your prayers and patience with me as I toddle along as a newbie in this web arena. I am excited to share what the Lord is instructing me to in this internet excursion with each one of you.
A favorite Scripture of mine and very much referenced through my life is:
Proverbs 3:5, 6 -
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (6) in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.
So, here I am. I find myself reaching for it even now …as I step out in faith …once again.

Who Is Tammie Human Burgin?
Tammie Human Burgin is a writer –blessed to grow up in a Christian home –honored to be the granddaughter of a Pastor. She does not take for granted hearing the Name of Jesus before she even took her first breath.
SHE KNOWS –Luke 12:48 …to whom much is given much is required.
Her desire to extend the love, the knowledge, the Truth of Jesus is her mission –her ministry –for such a time as this.
The love and priority she has for her Savior, husband –Scott, sons –Tyler and Zachary and daughter-in-love –Katie, is the definition of who she is and what drives her.
She continues to minister in writing and in prayer what the Lord has done, who He is to her and how someone can know Jesus as their personal Savior.
It is her heart to share the love of God …to one …to all …FOR HIS GLORY!
Our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for April, Nahum- A Minor Prophet- wrote a small, but significant book for God’s Word.
As I studied this human, I learned that Nahum wrote a warning to Nineveh. God Almighty is so amazing as we just explored Nineveh last month with March’s HUMAN of the Bible Reflection, Jonah- A Minor Prophet. I found that this forewarning from our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for April is 150 years after Jonah’s experience with Nineveh.
These humans In Nineveh were know to be Assyrians. Their choices after 150 years were a great descent into egregious, destructive, and horrible actions- worse than their ancestors.
What we glean from Nahum as a Minor Prophet is so much more major than we can imagine. These people that he was ministering to had made decisions that were so devastating after those before them had turned to God. The first warning was clear to them and it is clear to us today.
Nahum 2:13a states-
“Behold I am against you,” says the LORD of hosts.
This is not something we want to hear the Lord say to us, friend. How is your walk with the Lord? Let us come together this month- these days after Resurrection Sunday and be alert to our walk with God. Let us be aware that we are keeping Him first. Let us be awake and not fall back from seeking the Lord.
My prayer is that we do not decline as Nineveh chose to in our manner of living. No- we should improve and grow in our knowledge of the Lord and His ways. I pray that we do not go against God. Rather, may we please Him in our lifestyle with Him.
Something minor can be major, dear Reader. I pray it is our choice to rise and be vigilant in our efforts to know Jesus more. Oh, friend- He loves you so!

Nahum
A Minor Prophet
The Book of Nahum
Nahum, A Minor Prophet- is our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for the month of April.
Just like many other books of the Bible, Nahum bears the author’s name. Nahum, inspired by the Holy Spirt, wrote only three chapters in his contributing book. However, the contents weigh heavily as they are read by the Reader. He might have been minor, but the message was major! I encourage you to read this book of the Bible for yourself, friend.
In my research I learned that Nahum was writing a warning to Nineveh. This Minor Prophet shared a major message. It was written to those in Nineveh, but it is also for us today. You and I have an opportunity to heed this same caution.
